PRAKASH KUTTIKATT, General Manager, Customer Intelligence and Retail
SAS Australia and New Zealand

Prakash Kuttikatt

SAS Institute Australia appointed Prakash Kuttikatt as General Manager, Customer Intelligence and Retail for Australia and New Zealand in August 2007.

He is based at the company's ANZ regional head office in Sydney and is responsible for the continuing adoption of SAS Customer Intelligence and Retail solutions by organisations seeking to gain from a better understanding of their customers' characteristics, and from faster and fuller analysis of competitive pressures and other pertinent market conditions. As part of his job he will focus on Customer Intelligence/Analytical CRM across all industries and also focus specifically on Retail industry solutions.

Before joining SAS, Prakash Kuttikatt spent some fifteen years in Analytical CRM senior management roles with leading financial institutions and telecommunications carriers in Perth and Sydney.

His most recent previous position was Head of Customer Knowledge for Hutchison Telecommunications where he managed a team of fourteen covering Business Intelligence, Campaigns and Analytics and CRM Projects. 

Earlier, he led business strategy around the implementation of Single Customer View and Datawarehouse in Sing Tel Optus. He has also held senior Customer Intelligence/Analytical CRM roles with Westpac, Challenge Bank and also with QBE.

His extracurricular activities have included numerous speaking engagements at management, marketing and technical conferences in the United States, Korea, Japan, China and India - as well as Australia.

Prakash Kuttikatt holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business, with Distinction, from Curtin University of Technology in Perth and a BSc and MBA from Kerala University and Cochin University of Science & Technology, respectively, in India.
