Bridging the Gap between Academia and Business
The SAS Academic Program aims to provide SAS Customers with SAS skilled graduates. Students are being exposed to the
latest SAS technology within Australian and New Zealand universities and they are gaining practical experience at
SAS customer sites. The SAS Academic Program can also assist you in recruiting graduates with SAS skills.
Corporate
Work Placement Program
SAS are pleased to offer our valued customers the opportunity to host university students, who have studied
SAS, in unpaid work experience positions. The SAS Work Placement Program is an integral part of our academic
initiative, aimed at bridging the gap between academia and business and ensure our customers can source SAS
skilled graduates.
The work placement takes place during the summer break (students will be available from December – February).
Students will be covered for insurance purposes through a letter of indemnity issued by the University. The program
has been a huge success over the past four years and has resulted in 25% of participating students being offered
permanent roles upon completion of the work experience program.

SAS has a database of SAS skilled students who are currently looking for employment. If you are currently recruiting a
role for a graduate, SAS are more than happy to assist. Interested parties should send a detailed job description to
