SAS Indonesia launches SAS® Visual Analytics for better analyze and visualize big data
Jakarta (Nov. 28, 2012) – In about 10 seconds, new SAS Visual Analytics able to proceed 1.1 billion (1,100,000,000) rows of data, each with 47 columns of data, and then reported to the iPad® and Android tablet. This new in-memory business intelligence (BI) solution from SAS offers the speed plus self-service to eliminate the traditional wait for IT-generated reports for organizations with big data. Business users–both decision makers and analysts– are able to explore and analyze the data, generate new report, and view report instantly.
IDC defines Big Data technologies as a new generation of technologies and architectures designed to extract value economically from very large volumes of a wide variety of data by enabling high-velocity capture, discovery, and/or analysis. SAS Visual Analytics is such a technology platform.
