Wipro & SAS to develop biz intelligence solutions

Wipro Technologies, the global
IT services division of Wipro Ltd., on Thursday announced that it has entered
into a strategic alliance with SAS, the market leader in business intelligence
solutions, to provide a range of business intelligence (BI) applications - from
intelligence storage to analytics, data integration, and query and reporting
capabilities using SAS platform.
With this alliance, the company
aims to meet the diverse needs of its customers by effectively leveraging the
industry specific intelligence services offered by the SAS platform, Wipro said
in a statement.
Both the companies would evolve
common solution specific strategy to help companies gain unique and strategic
insights into their customers, suppliers and internal infrastructure to drive
value and gain a competitive advantage, it added.
Commenting on the occasion,
