SAS, the leader in the ‘Enterprise Intelligence Platform’ market in India, announced that the ICFAI Business School (IBS), sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, has introduced SAS Business Intelligence software applications as part of the curriculum in the university. The initiative by ICFAI Business School is the single largest academic initiative of its kind in the country. IBS will introduce SAS courseware on Customer Intelligence, Risk Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Data Mining as part of its curriculum in the University across its pan India network of 14 campuses.

With a strong belief in creating skills in core and frontier areas through innovative educational programs, research and consulting, the ICFAI Business School is focused on providing its community of over 5000 students with the new generation of Business Intelligence software and solutions. The introduction of SAS in the curriculum emphasizes ICFAI’s belief that the gap between academia and business can be bridged by providing the students with cutting-edge Business Intelligence & Analytical Software, and by developing business leaders of tomorrow who can validate all their business decisions based on analytical reasoning.

SAS, which has been reported as the leader in the “Enterprise Intelligence Platform” by a recent Frost & Sullivan study has been credited for its distinct leadership position in India across end-to-end business intelligence platform from Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL), and Data warehousing to Online Analytical Processing & Reporting, and Analytical Intelligence.
