HSBC inks pact with SAS HSBC on Tuesday entered into pact with business intelligence software developer SAS for detecting the credit card frauds. The SAS solution will be implemented in all of HSBC's major card business worldwide, a release from the bank said. In addition to reducing potential losses, the project would lower the operational costs of fighting fraud, it said, adding SAS and HSBC are also cooperating on developing a strategy to extend the technology into other transaction monitoring applications. |
