SAS® 9.1 ACHIEVES 'POWERED BY SAP NETWEAVER’ INTEGRATION STATUS SAS, a long-time SAP software partner and leader in business intelligence, today announced that its SAS® 9.1 solution has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” integration status. By achieving this level of certification, SAS has deepened its strong commitment to SAP solutions and become a member of the Powered by SAP NetWeaver partner program. Customers seeking a business intelligence solution to fully exploit their investments in existing implementations of ERP solutions and the SAP NetWeaver platform can rely on the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform to integrate, store, analyze and report large volumes of data. The “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” certification emphasizes how the SAS platform adds value to SAP solutions through certified integration with SAP NetWeaver, a cornerstone of SAP’s Enterprise Services Architecture (ESA). This latest certification recognizes SAS’ integration with the current production release of the SAP NetWeaver platform. It follows earlier integration certification of SAS solutions with the SAP Business Information Warehouse, a component of the SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence solution, and with SAP R/3. “SAS is the perfect complement to SAP’s business process platform,” says Sudipta K.
