SAS improves fraud protection for HSBC
Hong Kong (31 October, 2007) – SAS today launches SAS Fraud Management a
new real-time, card fraud detection system based on its enterprise
intelligence platform. The system was developed together with HSBC and
is currently implemented in the US, conducting fraud checks on HSBC’s US
credit card transactions in real time, improving protection for HSBC’s
customers.

Dah Sing Group Partners with SAS to Implement Basel II
Hong Kong (12 June, 2007) – SAS, the global leader in business
intelligence, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Dah
Sing Group (Dah Sing) as strategic partner to implement the Internal
Ratings-based (IRB) approach according to the guidelines of the Banking
(Capital) Rules issued by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). Under
the agreement, Dah Sing Bank has engaged SAS building an enterprise-wide
credit risk management data warehouse (RDW) and employ a credit risk
management solution, to consolidate all its credit risk related
information and serve as a credit risk measurement foundation for the
bank.
SAS Achieves Record $1.9billion Revenue
(Mar 14,
2007) – Strong demand for industry-specific and packaged solutions
fueled the 30th straight year of revenue growth for SAS, the leader in
business intelligence. Total revenue in 2006 was US$1.9 billion, up 12
percent over US$1.7 billion in 2005, SAS announced today. New software
license revenue increased 20 percent, nearly twice the growth rate
expected in the market this year.
