Welcome to SAS Certified Professional Program

The SAS Certified Professional Program is proud to announce the December release of two new exams in beta version:

Successful candidates should be able to import and export raw data files; manipulate and transform data; combine SAS data sets; create basic detail and summary reports using SAS procedures; and identify and correct data; syntax and programming logic errors.

This exam is required to obtain the certification of a SAS Base Programmer.

Successful candidates should be skilled in using advanced DATA step programming statements and efficiency techniques to solve complex problems, writing and interpreting SAS SQL code, and creating and using SAS MACRO variables.

The SAS Base Programming Exam and the SAS Advanced Programming Exam are both required to obtain the certification of a SAS Advanced Programmer. Instead of the SAS Base Programming test, the Core Concepts V8 test is also accepted as a prerequisite for this certification.
