SAS signs specialist local business intelligence and analytics resellerJohannesburg, South Africa (15 May 2008) – SAS Institute South Africa is pleased to announce the new membership of Quantec Research to its local reseller programme. Quantec is a locally-based consulting firm that specialises in financial and socio-economic database development, and brings to the partnership a unique value proposition and set of competencies. Since 1994, Quantec has specialised in providing business and country intelligence, economic and financial data, quantitative analytical software, economic forecasting and consultancy services to its nearly 200 clients. Quantec currently services both the local and international markets in the NGO, tertiary education, government and finance sectors. As a member of the reseller programme, the company will be able to take advantage of SAS's training, certifications, user conferences and partner summits.
