SAS sponsors annual business intelligence conferenceJohannesburg, South Africa (08 Feb. 2008) – SAS Institute South Africa will again be sponsoring the annual ITWeb Business Intelligence Conference, which is being held once more at The Forum at The Campus, in Bryanston, Johannesburg, on 26 and 27 February 2008. The conference, held each year, is aimed at end-users, with content focused around practical examples of BI implementations presented in the form of case studies, as well as best practices and working solutions. The event brings together IT executives from a variety of industries, with the common goal of providing and sharing knowledge, experience and lessons learned around BI. "This event is all about creating value for those who use or are looking at implement a business intelligence solution. As the world leader in BI, SAS is constantly looking to help out customers to build value in their organisations, through the delivery and implementation of appropriate solutions," says Carel Badenhorst, Product Manager Business Intelligence at SAS South Africa. Badenhorst concludes: "The conference will provide insight into issues surrounding BI buying and implementation in South Africa, as well as adoption trends and the business success achieved.
