Special Edition - SAS Sailing Challenge

The Khanya Pirates did not win the yacht race on Saturday, but reached the finishing line within the allotted time

HOWEVER,

SAS kindly contributed all the proceeds of the day to Khanya to implement technology at Eendekuil Primary and Eendekuil Laerskool in the West-Coast Winelands area

A consolation prize to the most soaked team (soaked with seawater), was awarded to the Khanya Pirates of the yacht Impact.

The Impact was also the smallest yacht that participated in the race.

A well-deserved prize, as we are still digging seasand out of our ears!
