As we end of the year and venture into a new one, I can’t help but be both nostalgic and proud of how far we have progressed from the beginning of this year.
Earlier this year we launched SAS Visual Analytics, which provides a robust set of BI capabilities and approachable analytics, enabling different types of users to gain insights from any size of data through data visualisation and exploratory analysis. This amazing solution allows you to, among other benefits, answer complex questions faster and enhance the productivity of your analytical talent; improve information sharing and collaboration; liberate IT by giving users a new way to access the information they need; and right-size your analytics discovery environment.
We also saw the introduction of SAS Marketing Automation 6.1. This was a major release that introduced a new browser-based user interface for business analysts. The new look and feel delivers a highly interactive and intuitive user experience while delivering key customer-driven features, including support for control groups, live seeds, enhanced campaign definitions and improved scheduling and execution.
We received various accolades from analysts over the year, entrenching our leadership status when it comes to analytics. We also managed to sign on over two million users of SAS Curriculum Pathways in our bid to change our future by providing assistance to teachers and students via a computer based programme.
Some are saying that 2014 will be the year of assessment - reviewing how far we have progressed and what we need to change in order to navigate the next couple of years. I am certainly looking forward to it. On that note, I would like to wish you and your family a restful, safe festive season and we look forward to engaging you in the New Year.
