K-12 and higher education can more easily and affordably employ SAS financial, strategy and human capital management software

SAS GLOBAL FORUM, SEATTLE  (12 Apr. 2010)  – With education budgets slashed nationwide, higher education and K-12 administrators have more need than ever for three critical management technologies from SAS. The education industry will be first to benefit from SAS Strategy Management, SAS Financial Management and SAS Human Capital Management in a cost-effective hosted environment, requiring no additional hardware or personnel.

Users can perform instant consolidations, develop more accurate budgets, and report and analyze results. Workflow management helps centrally and securely manage closing, planning and reporting cycles, and manage the execution of strategy to improve performance. 

SAS Strategy Management is a Web-based application for designing, building and managing scorecards, dashboards and diagrams, including strategy maps. It provides an interactive and collaborative environment to communicate organizational goals and strategies, monitor performance against targets, identify opportunities for improvement, and show connections between strategy and execution. 

SAS Human Capital Management allows organizations to implement sound human capital management practices, focusing on analytics that directly affect performance. Organizations can consolidate human capital data and perform workforce analysis and modeling for proactive human capital management.
