Carl Farrell Carl Farrell
Executive Vice President, SAS Americas

As Executive Vice President of SAS Americas, Carl Farrell is known for his hands on, direct leadership approach and his dedication to building a winning culture of excellence, values-centered leadership and innovation. 

Farrell leads a large global team of professionals across the Americas and is responsible for aligning the right analytical solutions to meet the many needs of SAS customers. Farrell oversees all sales functions across seven vertical US business units, in addition to leading all business functions in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Since Farrell joined SAS in 2002, he has delivered consistent and record growth across his regions earning him increased responsibility. Starting as the President of Canada, Farrell doubled the business and grew Canada to be the fourth largest subsidiary within SAS. In 2004, he took over Latin America where it has become the fastest growing region within SAS.  Farrell was promoted to EVP of the Americas in 2006 where he took on the US sales division, again driving strong revenue growth.

In recent years, Farrell oversaw the construction of SAS Canada's new headquarters, Canada's first multi-tenant commercial building to obtain LEED Silver certification. He shares the view of the importance of work/life balance that has become a SAS hallmark. Under his leadership and direction Canada and Latin America have received numerous accolades in green leadership and have been recognized as model standards for positive cultural environments.

As a member of the global leadership team, Farrell has also been involved in leading a number of key and strategic SAS acquisitions; including Risk Advisory, a solutions provider in the energy risk market and more recently VSTI, a company specializing in analytics solutions for the government intelligence sector. 

As a member of the Council of the Americas (COA), which works to promote economic and social development in the Western Hemisphere, Farrell collaborates with a network of global business leaders to support SAS’ efforts to successfully conduct business across industries and geographies. 

Farrell brings more than 25 years' experience in the technology industry, spanning sales, consulting and product development across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. He has held senior executive positions at Vignette Corporation, Idiom Technology, JD Edwards and JBA Holdings.

Mario Ianniciello Mario Ianniciello

Mr. Ianniciello is responsible for leading the national sales team in understanding our clients’ business issues and aligning them with SAS® Business Analytics solutions that optimize business value and provide a measurable return on investment. Mr. Ianniciello has more than 20 years experience within the IT vendor community and has been involved in developing strategic relationships with executives throughout Canada’s private and public sector. 

Mr. Ianniciello joined SAS Canada in 2004 as Eastern Regional Sales Director. Prior to joining SAS, he held executive sales management roles at Computer Associates, Legato Systems and EMC. Mr. Ianniciello began his career in information technology with Loto Quebec and Metro Inc. He is a graduate of Dawson College and Herzing Institute.

Cameron Dow Cameron Dow
Vice-President, Marketing
SAS Canada and Latin America

Cameron Dow is the Vice President of Marketing for SAS' operations in Canada and Latin America. As head of marketing, Mr. Dow is responsible for growing SAS' market share in targeted industries through the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy. Mr. Dow is also a key contributor to the overall business strategy for the SAS subsidiaries.

Prior to his current post, Mr. Dow was the Head of Solutions Marketing, responsible for product and field support strategy in Canada. Prior to SAS, Mr. Dow was a senior analyst at International Data Corporation (IDC) in Toronto where he was responsible for IDC Canada's software market research and related consulting services. In this role he conducted comprehensive, large-scale primary research into key areas of the Canadian IT market, such as application outsourcing, customer relationship management, and application service providers. In addition, he assisted leading software vendors with market planning and sales and marketing strategy. He is a graduate of York University in Toronto.

Stuart Bowden E. Stuart Bowden

Stuart Bowden is Senior Vice President, Operations and Finance of SAS Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

As the first employee at SAS Canada, his responsibilities have included operational and finance functions, such as outsourcing sales, compensation and human resources, information services (including MIS and data centre operations), facilities management, software and documentation distribution, and corporate legal functions. Prior to joining SAS, he was employed in mergers and acquisitions by Ernst & Young.

Mr. Bowden is a former co-chair the Information Technology Association of Canada's (ITAC) Finance and Taxation Committee and sits with the association's Compensation and Software committees. He is a former member of the board of directors of ITAC Ontario and represents the industry provincially on committees dealing with government legislation impacting the software industry.

Mr. Bowden is a graduate of the University of Toronto, having done graduate work in physiology and clinical biochemistry. He is a chartered accountant and received his MBA from the Schulich School of Business.

Seta Kouyoumdjian

Seta Kouyoumdjian, Sr. Director of Human Resources (HR) for SAS Canada, is responsible for developing and guiding SAS' HR vision and articulating the organization's strategy to help acquire, develop, reward, and retain the best talent.

Ms. Kouyoumdjian joined SAS in 1987 as a Human Resources Manager where she worked closely with executive leadership on employee performance and organizational effectiveness initiatives. In this role, Seta leads a team of 3 employees who partner with SAS business units to maximize the potential of SAS' greatest asset – the employees – to deliver quality advisory services.

Ms. Kouyoumdjian is an original employee of SAS Canada; she created the Human Resources department in 1988 and has directed the company's HR operations ever since. Through her promotion of teamwork, cooperation and the creation and application of leading HR policies and practices, SAS Canada is recognized by the industry as one of the best places to work. In 2010, SAS Canada was ranked No. 4 on the 2010 Best Workplaces in Canada list and was also ranked No. 1 on the 2010 list of Canada's Best Workplaces for Women. SAS was also recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for the ninth consecutive year and as one of Greater Toronto's Top 90 Employers.

Ms. Kouyoumdjian is a member of Information Technology Association of Canada's (ITAC) HR Committee. Prior to joining SAS Canada, she was employed by Pricewaterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Pat Finerty Pat Finerty, Vice President, Alliances and
Business Development

Pat Finerty is the Vice President of Alliances and Business Development for SAS Canada. Mr. Finerty is responsible for leading the development of new industry verticals, practice areas and business models to foster the Canadian subsidiary's long-term growth.

Mr. Finerty has more than 18 years of experience in management consulting, services delivery, sales and executive leadership with organizations including the European Space Agency, Transrun Services, Loyalty Management Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to his current role, Mr. Finerty ran SAS' Customer Solutions, National Sales Support, Academic and Inside Sales Organizations.
