Saskatchewan SAS Users Group (SUCCESS)
The bi-annual SUCCESS meetings offer presentations, discussions and
networking opportunities which can help Saskatoon-area SAS users get
the most out of their SAS software.
Our Next Meeting: April 28th, 2010. Registration
and agenda will be made available shortly.
Highlights from our last meeting:
The last meeting was held on October 14th, 2009 at the University of Saskatchewan. SAS
Canada’s Martha Casanova updated the group on new developments in the
world of SAS, as well as delivering an overview of the customer reference
program. Andy Kuligowski of FCCI Insurance – and the Chair of
SAS Global Forum 2012, to be held in Orlando, Florida – delivered an
insightful presentation about the value of attending SGF. He also gave
two very well-received presentations on the SAS Log and on the Set, Merge & Update
functions of SAS datasets. Peter Olynyk of FCL gave a talk on user-driven
data extraction, and a bonus presentation was offered by Chel Hee Lee of
the University of Saskatchewan which gave some tips for preparing administrative
health data in SAS for use in research. Finally, Brad Zimmer gave a
presentation about the benefits of joining the SUCCESS executive team, and
appealed for volunteers. To help out, please contact Brad at his emaili
below.
Thanks again to all our presenters, and to all who attended.
