OASUS - Ottawa Area SAS Users Society

The bi-annual OASUS meetings offer presentations, discussions and networking opportunities which can help Ottawa-area SAS users get the most out of their SAS software.

Presentations from the June 2009 meeting are now available on the OASUS website.

Thanks to everyone who attended the June 3rd meeting and we look forward to seeing you at the next OASUS meeting. It will be taking place November 18th at the National Arts Centre, beginning at 8:30am.  You may register here.  To also attend the OPUS meeting immediately following, please use this joint registration form.

A free JMP workshop is being offered at the SAS Canada office in Ottawa.  The workshop will begin at 9:00am on Thursday, November 19th.   If interested, please contact Lorna Stoddart of SAS Canada at (613) 755-2311 in order to register: space is limited, so do register today!

What is JMP?
Interactive. Comprehensive. Highly visual. That just begins to describe JMP statistical discovery software. Everyone can relate to “aha” moments – those moments of clarity when, all of a sudden, something makes perfect sense. Because every day should be filled with those moments, SAS created JMP statistical discovery software. It’s the SAS software designed for dynamic data visualization on the desktop. It’s the SAS product that dynamically links your data with graphics right on your desktop, empowering you to explore the data interactively. You’ll discover things you never expected, and then communicate those discoveries in a most visual way. Wayne Levin will review and demonstrate how sometimes Statistics-phobic analysts and Statisticians alike can benefit from JMP and gain insights they might not otherwise get from their data using JMP.
