About the speakers:

Andreas Bitterer
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Bitterer is a leading authority on business intelligence, data warehousing, CRM, and enterprise application integration, with particular expertise in data integration, data quality and information management strategies, and in advising clients on enterprise application packages. Before joining META Group in September 2001, he was managing director for technology at a strategic investment and venture capital firm. He spent 15 years with IBM as senior management consultant for its e-business and interactive media practice in Germany, as project manager and senior systems engineer at its Almaden Research Center (for business intelligence, neural networks, and internet technology), and as application development engineer in Canada and Germany. Mr. Bitterer has authored numerous books on application development, data management, and object technology. He received an MS in Computer Science from the Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany.

John Walker
As the Associate Director for Customer Insights and Analysis (CIA) for Bell Mobility, John Walker is responsible for database marketing, testing strategies, campaign analysis and direct marketing strategies. His team's primary objective is to improve direct marketing results for the B2B market.

John possesses 12 years of marketing and database experience including CRM at Kraft Canada, marketing strategy at Euro RSCG, marketing information for Star Choice and results analysis for Rogers Cablesystems.

Bernard Sévigny
A graduate of Collège de Ste-Foy in Computer Science, Mr. Sévigny has worked for large IT and Management Consulting firms for 23 years. He is a member of Ordre des Administrateurs agrees du Québec and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

With DMR Consulting for 13 years, he is an Executive Partner for both Montreal and Quebec Offices. Over the past six years, he has been involved as project manager or strategic advisor on many large Data Warehousing initiatives in Quebec, Canada and the United States.

He also led DMR's North American practice in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence fields for three years. He is currently Vice-President Business Development for the Montreal Office.
