The survey also asked IT executives whether, if they had a choice, they would continue to do business with their vendors. SAS ranked seventh out of 41 major technology product and service vendors in the Vendor Value Study, with an overall score of 71.2 percent. The highest score in the survey was 83.1, and the lowest score was 45.4. SAS also ranked seventh in the Vendor Reliability section with a score of 73.3 percent. The highest score in this category was 82.3. "SAS works hard to deliver what our customers want and to exceed their expectations by building strong customer relationships, and this survey validates that we are doing that better than any of our competitors. Our goal is to make our customers successful," says Jim Davis, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at SAS. "The CIO Insight study will help all CIOs see how their peers view the business value and reliability of SAS as a leading provider of business intelligence software. We are pleased to be ranked so highly among some of the most recognized organizations in the world, and we consider it a major accomplishment to be the only business intelligence vendor to make the top 10." |
