SAS® predictive analytics rank highly in Hurwitz & Associates inaugural Victory Index

SAS received the highest overall customer satisfaction scores

CARY, NC  (Sep. 28, 2011)  – SAS, the leader in business analytics , has been included in the inaugural Victory Index report from Hurwitz & Associates on predictive analytics. SAS was among 12 companies to be evaluated and was recognized based on strength of brand and for providing a comprehensive solution set to tackle a range of problems. 

Designed as a market research assessment tool, the Victory Index highlights both the diverse uses of predictive analytics technology such as predicting consumer behavior, conducting economic forecasting and identifying fraud, and the vendors who make those applications possible. Led by Hurwitz & Associates Partner, Fern Halper, PhD, the predictive analytics study examines the most critical trends for users to consider and analyzes 12 vendor offerings in the market across four key dimensions: Vision, Viability, Validity and Value.
