SAS named one of China’s Top EmployersCARY, NC (Apr. 13, 2009) – SAS, the leader in business analytics, has been named a winner of China’s Top Employers 2009, representing the North China region. This is the second year SAS China has received the award, a testimony to SAS’ outstanding corporate culture. The award was presented by CRF, an international research-based organization specializing in identifying the world’s top performers in human resources, leadership and strategy. The award has been garnering increasing attention in China since it was introduced in 2007, with many large local and multinational companies nominated in 2009. A final 24 companies were chosen as top employers. Alex Wong, General Manager of SAS Greater China, said the award reflects SAS’ respect for employees and the company’s attention to customers’ voices over time. “Employees who are satisfied with their jobs contribute to satisfied customers,” Wong said. “At SAS, we strive to create a high-quality working atmosphere and implement a human resources strategy that encourages employee development. Not only is it how SAS cultivates and retains talented individuals; it also is the secret of our success for the past 33 years.” A number of the winners are Fortune 500® companies or regional corporations undergoing rapid growth. According to CRF, all 24 winners are outstanding in their fields. The top companies exhibited excellence in terms of salary and welfare; working environment; training and study; promotion and development; corporate culture and employee health management.
