SAS again ranks high on Dutch Great Place to Work® list

SAS employees' pride in workplace results in continued high score 

HUIZEN, NETHERLANDS  (Apr. 13, 2011)  –  SAS, which specializes in business analytics software and services, has again scored high in the 2011 rankings for large and multinational organizations. For the second consecutive year, the company earned the second place on the Great Place to Work list. According to the Great Place to Work® Institute, the annual list of best employers is based on two criteria:

1. Employee responses  to the Great Place to Work Trust Index. This is a staff survey developed by the Great Place to Work Institute. The trust index is determined by responses to 58 statements about confidence, pride and joy of employees regarding their company. The model has five dimensions: reliability, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. The answers of the employees account for two-thirds of the total score.
2. An open  questionnaire to the management regarding good employment policies and how the company's policies translate into practice.

This is the fourth consecutive year that SAS has been recognized as one of the Netherlands' best employers. Great Place to Work Institute conducts this research worldwide. SAS scores very high in many countries, including the United States, where SAS has earned first place the past two years.
