SAS Mexico named for the sixth consecutive year to Great Place to Work® list

MEXICO CITY  (Jun. 30, 2011)  – SAS Mexico has again been named to the 2011 Best Companies to Work For list in Mexico. SAS ranks No. 33 among multinational companies between 500 and 5,000 employees.

2011 marks the sixth consecutive year that SAS Mexico appears on this list. It also marks the second year that SAS Mexico is included in the Hall of Fame, a list of companies that have appeared on the Best Companies to Work For list at least five years in a row.

Additionally, SAS Mexico ranks No. 11 among multinational companies in the Information Week Magazine 2011 Best IT & Telecom Companies to Work For list in Mexico..

The Great Place to Work Institute also published the 2011 Best Workplaces in Latin America listing SAS Brazil and SAS Mexico at No. 40 (based on 2010 rankings) among the top 50 Best Multinational Companies. Based on 11 national best workplace studies in Latin America, it is the largest study of workplace practices of its kind. More than 1,900 companies participated, representing 2.8 million employees in the region.

The 2011 Best Companies to Work For in Brazil list was published at the end of July (for IT and Telecom companies) and in August (general ranking).  In 2010, SAS Brazil was No. 12 on the list.
