SAS Germany again among Best Places to WorkSAS earns high placement in the "Germany's Best Employers 2010"HEIDELBERG (Feb. 25, 2010) – SAS, one of the world's largest software manufacturers, is again among this year's most popular employers in Germany, according to "Germany's Best Employer 2010." SAS placed 13th in the category of companies under 500 employees, up from 14th last year. The "Germany's Best Employer" competition is conducted annually by the Great Place to Work Institute, Germany, in cooperation with the New Quality of Work Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. SAS currently employs 450 in Germany and more than 11,000 worldwide, working in 400 offices and 52 countries. SAS had worldwide revenues of US$2.31 billion in 2009 and €108 million in Germany. In the U.S., SAS has been one of the most popular employers for years. Most recently, the privately held software company headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, topped the FORTUNE magazine list of “100 Best Companies to Work For” in America.
