SAS Institute France named to TOP Employers 2010 for excellence in HR

PARIS  (Feb. 24, 2010)  –  SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, has been named one of the 20 French TOP Employers, which recognizes French companies for excellence in human resources (HR) benefits and services.

CRF Institute, which for 19 years has identified companies that implement best practices in human resources, announced the 20 French TOP Employers in 2010 on February 9. Based on a unified methodology applied across Europe, CRF Institute measured HR commitment to employees in five categories:

  • Corporate culture SAS was noted for continuing efforts to foster innovation, supported by its strong investment in R&D and a philsophy that places high value on human capital.
  • Working conditions SAS emphasis on “well-being at work,” is exemplified by exceptional surroundings, a concierge and a gym.The company also offers creative work arrangements such as flexible hours and telecommuting.
  • Talent management SAS has instituted special programs that encourage employees to take on greater responsibilities. The company also makes a concerted effort to identify and retain employees with critical expertise and high potential.
  • Professional development High priority given to promoting from within and internal mobilitiy creates greater opportunities for employees. An ambitious development plan includes many opportunities for professional training and transition.
  • Remuneration and recognition SAS offers attractive pay packages that include bonuses and contributions, plus additional compensation based on individual and company performance.
