SAS is 19th “Great Place to Work” in PortugalCARY, NC (Mar. 09, 2009) – SAS Portugal ranked 19th among the 30 best places to work in Portugal in 2009. Conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute, this annual competition lists the top places to work in 30 countries around the world. This survey has been conducted in Portugal since 2000. SAS Portugal has been consistently named among the top employers, with the exception of 2006, when the company did not participate. Álvaro Faria, SAS Portugal Country Manager, accepted the award, observing, “Once more, SAS Portugal ranks among the top employers in the country. This award demonstrates the positive impact of our HR policies, and also motivates us to continue improving more and more on our HR best practices.
