SAS Portugal moves up on Great Place to Work listRanked No. 14 overall and No. 5 for companies with fewer than 100 employeesLISBON (Apr. 08, 2010) – SAS Portugal has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” in Portugal for the ninth year in a row, moving up a notch to No. 14 overall. The ranking is determined by the Great Place to Work Institute. SAS came in fifth among companies with fewer than 100 employees. The company has been participating in the competition since 2002. Country Manager Alvaro Oliveira de Faria said “We are extremely proud of this achievement and especially for being consistently on the list for the last eight years.” SAS Portugal was also recognized for the first time as one of the “85 best companies to work for“in Portugal in a study conducted by Heidrick & Struggles. SAS was ranked No. 15 by Heidrick & Struggles, which began recognizing companies in 2007. Both lists are a reference in the national market, assuming higher importance especially in an adverse global environment.
