DataFlux Placed in Leaders Quadrant for 2009 Data Quality Tools Magic Quadrant

Report analyzes vendors’ ability to execute and completeness of vision

CARY, NC  (Jun. 11, 2009)  –   DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions, today announced that Gartner, Inc., a leading information technology research and advisory firm, positioned DataFlux in the leaders quadrant of its 2009 “Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools” annual report.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrants evaluate vendors within a particular technology market based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. The Magic Quadrant uses fifteen criteria varying in influence that position vendors based on their comparative strengths. These criteria include overall viability, customer experience, operations, market understanding, innovation and product/service. 

According to the report authored by Ted Friedman and Andreas Bitterer, “Organizations are aware that data quality competence is fundamental to the success of critical initiatives such as master data management (MDM), information governance, business intelligence (BI) and IT modernization. This awareness has increased the demand for insight about best practices, organizational structures and technology to support the data quality discipline.”
