SAS customer earns 'highest honor' from InfoWorld for business intelligence implementationSinclair Community College lauded for success using SAS®CARY, NC (Dec. 10, 2007) – Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH, using software from business intelligence leader SAS, has been honored by InfoWorld with an InfoWorld 100 Award for being one of the year’s “most creative and cutting-edge implementations of enterprise technology.” The award is described as InfoWorld’s highest honor. In the Education category, InfoWorld lauded Sinclair Community College for its enterprisewide business intelligence system based on the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform. Sinclair uses SAS to maximize its data and enhance its enrollment management strategy. As a result, the school saw its first fall term increase in four years. SAS empowers Sinclair’s Research, Analytics and Reporting Department, the single source of data driven decision making. The enterprisewide initiative supports more than 75 departments analyzing data gathered by the college’s ERP system. More than 100 reports are now available, with hundreds of users tapping daily into the system.
