KidsFutures uses SAS® to grow Futura Rewards™ ProgramPredictive analytics software to give loyalty program operator and partners greater customer insightTORONTO (Nov. 27, 2006) – SAS, the leader in business intelligence, today announced that it has entered an alliance agreement with KidsFutures Inc. (TSX-V:FUT), operator of the Futura Rewards Program, a national loyalty program that helps Canadian families save money for their financial goals. The alliance will provide KidsFutures with SAS data management and predictive analytics tools to support rewards program analysis and reporting. Participating program partners, which include grocery retailers and packaged goods companies, will also benefit from the information created by SAS software, and they will be able to access customer information through online reports that will help them turn customer insight into customized promotions and brand loyalty reward offers. “As our program grows, the amount of product and transactional data is growing significantly, and having the ability to integrate, manage and mine this data is integral to the success of KidsFutures and its partners,” said Byron Holland, Chief Operating Officer of KidsFutures Inc. “We can help our grocery, retail and product partners with the power of predictive modeling to help them improve their overall approach to, among other things, merchandising and pricing, so that they are able to provide better customer service and ultimately improve profitability.” “SAS is excited to be involved with this growing rewards category,” said Pat Finerty, Vice President of Alliances and Business Development for SAS Canada. “SAS analytics will enable KidsFutures and its partners to leverage their data more effectively, which in turn will drive growth across the coalition partnership.” About KidsFutures Inc. and Futura RewardsOperated by Toronto-based KidsFutures Inc., the Futura Rewards Program helps Canadians save money by purchasing a wide variety of consumer products and services from a broad array of some of Canada’s best-known retailers, service companies and brands.
