SAS named Software Company of the YearNCTA 21 announces winners at its 2007 awards ceremonyCARY, NC (Nov. 19, 2007) – SAS, the leader in business intelligence, received top honors as Software Company of the Year at the North Carolina Technology Association’s 2007 NCTA 21 Awards. “SAS has been a dedicated technology member company of NCTA over the years, and it is fitting that the largest privately-owned software company, with its global headquarters here in North Carolina, was awarded this year’s NCTA 21 Award for Software Company of the Year,” said Anne McClelland, Senior Director at Microsoft Corporation and 2007 Vice Chair of the NCTA Board of Directors. “This is the first time SAS has won this award, and we look forward to SAS continuing their excellent partnership with NCTA.
