SAS, COMSYS ink reseller agreement

Launch pilot for the Value Added Channel Partner Program

CARY, N.C. and CHICAGO  (June 14, 2005)  –  To address the growing demand for SAS® business intelligence (BI) software and services, SAS today announced a pilot program that will allow its alliance partners to resell SAS BI software. Through this pilot for the Value Added Channel Partner Program, SAS will implement and test a channel sales program with one trusted alliance partner, COMSYS Information Technology Services, prior to the program’s full deployment.

With a mutually agreed upon set of parameters, the pilot program will increase SAS’ market penetration by authorizing COMSYS to resell the most extensive analytic business intelligence software on the market.

“SAS’ business intelligence software provides accurate, reliable and easy access to predictive information, so our clients can make informed business decisions and not have to rely on reporting tools that look only at historical data,” said Bridgette Chambers, managing director for COMSYS’ National SAS and BI practices. “Because SAS is such a valued and trusted name, the SAS BI package is something our sales teams are eager to share with new clients.”
