SAS is Once Again among the Great Places to Work in MexicoMEXICO CITY (Mar. 30, 2007) – SAS Institute, the world leader in business intelligence and analytical software and services, reported being included in the 2007 Great Place to Work list. Great Place to Work® Mexico is a world-class research and consulting institute for work culture. Of the 100 leader companies in different fields, SAS placed at number 31. Only the top 100 of the 289 companies that participated in the survey were included in the final list. The research consisted two parts: the first is a survey answered by all the employees in each company, for the purpose of assessing the following items: trust, respect, impartiality, pride and companionship. In addition to the employees’ input, the Institute also conducts an in-depth "Culture Audit" of the human resources (HR) policies and practices employed by the companies. To achieve the total ranking, the Institute assigns an importance of 75 percent to the employee survesy and 25 percent to the policies and practices of the company. The methodology for the Great Place to Work list is used in 29 countries where the Great Place to Work Institute® has permanent operations. The methodology has been applied in over 50 countries. This is the fifth time that this research has been done in Mexico. The Sixth Ranking of the 100 Great Places to Work in Mexico is published together with the Mundo Ejecutivo magazine.
