SAS® marketing automation solution honored by ‘CRMGuru Solutions Guide 2005’

Influential guide points to SAS’ great analytics and outstanding predictive strength

CARY, N.C.  (Feb. 21, 2006)  –  SAS, the leader in business intelligence, announced today that its marketing automation solution is ranked among the top for 2005 by “CRMGuru Solutions Guide 2005.” The guide lauded SAS’ “great” analytics expertise, its “predictive strength way beyond the competition,” and its dedicated staff. SAS received the highest “Innovative Product” rating among marketing automation vendors. 

In creating this guide, CRMGuru collected approximately 2,500 qualifying surveys from June 2004 through May 2005. Using data collected from customers, users and partners, 20 vendors that received sufficient survey responses for statistical validity were selected for detailed analysis. The leaders in each category were determined by the highest rating in the CustomerThink Relationship Quality Index (CRQI), a composite score from zero to 100. Forty percent of the index is derived from the CRM solution ratings, and 60 percent is calculated from answers to “relationship quality” questions about customer satisfaction, loyalty, project success and return on investment.
