Dear Readers,

SAS recently announced the upgraded SAS Data Management family of software as part of its ongoing development of SAS 9.4. If you use SAS/ACCESS® engines, SAS Data Integration Studio or any of the SAS Data Management or former DataFlux® products, you'll want to check out these new features:

My co-worker Anna Brown has been working on a key support feature for this release: establishing a dedicated Data Management community. As SAS Support Community Manager, she'll be helping SAS users connect online to ask questions, share experiences and ideas and learn more.

The updated communities make polling easier, and Anna has been taking full advantage to hear what users want from their discussions. One recent poll showed nearly equal interest in specific product features, new products, and tips and tricks.

Her latest poll asks which big data sources you expect to use next year. Please take time to answer and help SAS provide the types of information you need.
