SAS® Business Report SAS
September 2009 support.sas.com  |  subscribe  |  unsubscribe

Dear Readers,

There are several images that may come to mind when you think of the last week in October: the orange, yellow and purple of fall mums, tiny Halloween hobgoblins and carpets of multi-colored fallen leaves. Attitudes seem to change, too – retailers appear more optimistic as they load the shelves for Christmas giving, and the stock markets begin to climb in anticipation of first quarter reports.

Those are great, but you and I know of an even bigger event that has been happening during the last week of October for years! This will be the 12th year that Las Vegas welcomes data miners to the world's largest data mining conference, M2009, Oct 26-27. And it’s the third year that wild western city will welcome top-level executives, decision makers and visionaries to The Premier Business Leadership Series, Oct. 27-29. The series is an investment; just take a look at these highlights from previous events.
