Dear Readers, John Bastone, Twitter user and Global Product Marketing Manager in Customer Intelligence at SAS, recently suggested that I start following Eric Peterson. Bastone is interested in Peterson because he’s a thought leader in Web analytics, and Bastone believes organizations should compete on Web analytics. Bastone thought you and I would be interested in Peterson, a blogger and Twitter user, for one additional reason – he created The Twitalyzer.
The Twitalyzer is a “Twitter Influence Calculator” that can help organizations with an interest in measuring the reach and influence of their activities on the Web and on platforms such as Twitter. According to Peterson’s description, it compares your influence, generosity, velocity, clout and signal-to-noise ratio against four other Twitters (I used four SAS Twitters as an example). Follow me on Twitter.
