SAS® Business Report SAS

Dear Readers,

Today, more than ever before, your organization's success hinges on its data. So, in every issue, I include articles and Webcasts to help you find the SAS solution that fits your needs. But that may not solve your problem entirely because success starts with the quality of your data. Some of you may be thinking that I'm going to point you to an article about strengthening your IT department. I am, but not in the way that you think. You see, your data is a valuable corporate asset, and it should be managed by senior managers in your organization. Those senior content experts should partner with the IT department to implement policies and standards regarding your organization's data.

What an idea: The business establishes policies and standards for enterprise data and the IT department implements them. Read the white paper I've included by Wayne Eckerson. It will help you build your business-IT partnership.
