Dear Readers, On Oct. 15, the Business Council, a group of about 120 CEOs from the largest US companies, met in Cary, NC, to discuss the US economy, health care and other business issues. According to Reuters, these leaders believe conditions are “better and improving.” In a survey conducted by the Business Council in October, 60 percent of business leaders “now expect conditions in their own industry to improve over the next six months.” That number has improved since February when 90 percent saw worsening conditions.
