Dear Readers,

What’s your New Year’s resolution? Lose weight? Spend more time with your family? Every January, I think over the past year and wonder how I can do things better. Here's my list:

  • I’m going to clean up my diet.
  • I’ve committed to balancing my checkbook at least once a quarter.
  • I vow to be more of a yes-man (woman). You know, less bark and more wag.

I thought you might be having trouble setting a New Year’s resolution. I chose the easy ones, so you get the harder ones. After all, you're leaders of industry.

  • Trim the fat – Business analytics can help you find areas where you can save AND make money. This winery recovered $400,000 in lost revenue in the first six months!
  • Turn over a new leaf – Sustainability programs are good for our environment, but did you know that sustainability sparks innovation, increases your bottom line and helps retain employees? Read Flipping the Switch on Solar
  • Effect change – Prospering in 2009 will require thoughtful leaders. View this Webcast, talk to other industry leaders, and then comment on our blog.

Getting healthier is a great New Year’s resolution.
