SAS® Business Report SAS
November 2008 support.sas.com  |  subscribe  |  unsubscribe

Dear Readers,

I really look forward to writing this small chunk of text. It is my chance each month to share some of the things that I’ve learned and gathered. For instance, did you know that SAS is committed to education? Local one-to-one laptop programs and SAS solutions designed for use at all education levels are having an impact on students’ performance. Jim Goodnight, CEO of SAS, spoke to BusinessWeek magazine and explained why the investment is important to SAS and to the business community.

In October, my colleagues were away speaking to users and customers at M2008 and The Premier Business Leadership Series events in Las Vegas. Alison Bolen shares one of her interviews in her blog post “Talking Social Media with Tom Davenport.” Speaking of conferences, it’s time for you to start thinking seriously about your plans for SAS Global Forum 2009. Read Meg Crawford’s post in sas com® voices to get the scoop.
