SAS Forms Health and Life Sciences Global Practice

SAS, the leader in business intelligence, has extended its commitment to the life sciences industry by forming the SAS Health and Life Sciences Global Practice. SAS established this new division to serve the growing need for technology and solutions that will further fuel the convergence of information across healthcare providers, health plans and biopharmaceutical companies. 

The SAS Health and Life Sciences Global Practice, which includes a strong team of industry experts, will focus on the introduction of a broader portfolio of solutions encompassing the entire health and life sciences enterprise. The long-term goal is to improve the quality and affordability of patient care around the world. 

Jason Burke has been named Worldwide Director of the SAS Health and Life Sciences Global Practice. Burke has a strong track record in leading health and life sciences initiatives at companies including Microsoft and Quintiles.
