Telcos Dial Up SAS Analytics

At SAS Forum International in Geneva, SAS announced a new software solution, SAS® Revenue Assurance for Telecommunications, shipping now, which enables communications service providers to better manage revenue streams and minimize revenue leakage.

Revenue assurance is a complex business process that requires predictive analysis to identify blind spots, such as business-process issues and technical problems in a revenue stream – blind spots that can cost a company up to 15 percent of its revenue.

This new SAS Telecommunications Intelligence Solution equips telecommunications service providers to minimize process inefficiencies and maximize revenue by applying powerful data integration, analytics, storage and business intelligence capabilities. In addition, there's a strong built-in knowledge component, enabling organizations to benefit from the wide experience SAS has gathered over the past 30 years.
