SAS Learning Edition 4.1 includes Base SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/QC, SAS/ETS, and SAS Enterprise Guide® 4.1.
- How is this product licensed?
This product is licensed for use on one (1) workstation at a time, for non-production purposes only. Concurrent usage or use on a network is
not authorized. The license is good through December 31, 2011.
- Is the tutorial for SAS Learning Edition 4.1 the same as the one for SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1?
The tasks are essentially the same. However, the online tutorial that comes with SAS Learning Edition contains additional topics that are
specific to SAS Learning Edition. Also, all topics have been updated for this version of SAS Enterprise Guide.
- What SAS procedures are included within SAS Learning Edition?
A group of SAS procedure statements is called a PROC step. SAS procedures analyze data in SAS data sets to produce statistics, tables,
reports, charts, and plots, to create SQL queries, and to perform other analyses and operations on your data. The procedures also provide
ways to manage and print SAS files.
We have provided a listing of the SAS procedures that are available with
the SAS Learning Edition 4.1.
- What are the limitations of SAS Learning Edition?
SAS Learning Edition works with data sets of any size, but it processes and displays only the first 1,500 observations (rows) of your
data set in the output. SAS Learning Edition does handle an unlimited number of variables (columns).
