SAS Consulting Academy

The SAS Consulting Academy addresses the high global market demand for SAS software expertise by preparing recent college graduates to enter the job market as a SAS software consultant.

High potential graduates who are accepted into this elite program receive a salary, on a short term contract, while attending leading-edge accelerated training. Successful graduates of the SAS Consulting Academy will have the opportunity to interview for full time entry-level Consultant positions with SAS.

Individuals selected to join the SAS Consulting Academy will complete 12-14 weeks of training at SAS’ world headquarters in Cary, NC on topics such as Base SAS, data integration and business intelligence. Technical training will be complemented with training to strengthen soft skills, such as giving presentations and facilitating customer projects.

Requirements of the program include academic experience with (n) tiered architecture, database concepts, database management, and data warehousing, and programming skills in C, Java or a third or fourth generation language.

Relevant degrees include computer science, computer engineering, and computer information systems.

Entry-level individuals with an aptitude for understanding SAS technology and how it can be used in the business world are encouraged to apply.
