It has been just over a year since we announced that SAS® Curriculum Pathways® would henceforth be available free of charge to all US educators. Across the country, schools and teachers have been forced to “do more with less.” SAS Curriculum Pathways is proving to be a powerful ally in their attempt to meet this difficult challenge.
The response from teachers and students has been extremely enthusiastic. The SAS Curriculum Pathways community now consists of more than 35,000 teachers from more than 5,000 schools a 228 percent increase in product use compared to a year ago at this time. Moreover, the product is now being used by students and teachers in all 50 states.
We hope that you will continue to explore the product, integrate it into your classroom, and share ideas with us and with your colleagues. SAS Curriculum Pathways was designed to complement, not replace, the work that educators do. Together, we can help prepare students to meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive global economy.
I also encourage you to visit our new Facebook page and share your experiences with SAS® Curriculum Pathways.

Collaborating with New York Teachers and Students
SAS is pleased to announce that professional development sessions are available in New York from Technology Based Learning Systems (TBLS), a research and development program at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). TBLS has been a leader in K-12 instructional technology for more than 25 years, working with New York State Teacher Centers and the Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) to deliver regional and local training. After completing in-depth SAS Curriculum Pathways training, NYIT senior trainers will be certified to deliver SAS Curriculum Pathways professional development.
“Having worked directly with NYIT, I’m impressed by the knowledge, expertise and professionalism of its senior trainers, and I’m excited about this collaboration,” says Deborah Gray, Professional Development Coordinator for SAS Curriculum Pathways. To learn more about New York training opportunities, contact Stan Silverman, Director of TBLS.
