Nomination Process

There are two ways to be nominated for a SAS Enterprise Intelligence Award:

  1. Your account representative can nominate you.
  2. You may nominate yourself via the Award Nomination Form.
Deadline for entry is Jan. 15, 2008, and the winner will be notified by the end of January 2008.

"The dedicated leaders and team members of CDC's BioSense program won a SAS Enterprise Intelligence award in 2007 and continue their important work to protect the nation against the increasing risk of a pandemic outbreak, or a bioterrorism event.

BioSense is a national program intended to improve the nation’s capabilities for conducting biosurveillance. Critical health information is accessed and analyzed from federal, state and local organizations across the country. BioSense recently decided to fully leverage the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence platform, and it has been a true pleasure to be part of the latest production release of an application inside BioSense that will be center stage during the 2007/2008 seasonal influenza epidemic."
