Inc.
Browning is responsible for the network management portfolio
at Delta Technology Inc., the wholly owned information technology subsidiary
of Delta Air Lines. His role encompasses oversight of scheduling and
network analysis systems, revenue management, revenue accounting and
recognition, salesforce automation, and operations research.
Jim Davis, senior vice president and chief marketing officer,
SAS
Davis heads SAS' worldwide marketing organization and oversees
marketing and product strategy for all SAS products and solutions. He has
been instrumental in transforming SAS from a tools provider to the customer-driven
software solutions provider it is today. Davis has directed a dramatic
increase in SAS' media profile through extensive relationship building
among financial and industry analysts. His division enhances the company's
record of sustained profitability by supporting a global sales and marketing
force and by coordinating market-driven R&D.
Keith Gile, principal analyst, Forrester's Information Delivery
research group
Keith is a principal analyst in Forrester's Information Delivery
research group, covering information management, data management, and business
intelligence (BI). Keith came to Forrester through its acquisition of Giga
Information Group. Prior to joining Giga, he worked for a number of business
intelligence-related companies including Vision Associates, Training Solutions,
and Metaphor Computer Systems. As director of education at Vision Associates,
Keith helped to develop the K-12 data warehousing product "eScholar," serving
as the first brand manager through the initial launch of the product. As
president and director of training for Training Solutions, he developed
and delivered customized BI product training to a number of BI and non-BI
firms including IBM, Valvoline, Sikorsky Aircraft, Colgate-Palmolive, Vision
Associates, and others. He has developed BI product-specific training manuals
for Metaphor Computer System, IBM, Sikorsky Aircraft, and AFRC Garmisch
in Germany. Keith has a B.A. from the University of Lowell and has lived
and worked in Germany.
George Hage, associate director of statistical programming, OSI Pharmaceuticals
A member of the Denver SAS Users Group, Hage has been using SAS
since 1982 on a variety of platforms including VMS, UNIX and PC. At OSI,
a large biotech company concentrating on the development of small-molecule
targeted therapies for oncology, Hage leads a group of programmers who
use SAS for analyzing, reporting, archiving and submitting clinical data
to worldwide regulatory authorities.
Julia King, executive editor of events and national correspondent, Computerworld
King is responsible for the content of Computerworld's
annual Premier 100 IT Leaders conference as well as IT executive summits
and other IT executive programs held throughout the year. She also leads Computerworld's
coverage of IT management issues. Her IT reporting has earned her several
awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors; she is a frequent
presenter and panel moderator at industry conferences. King is also the
editor of Executives' Guide To The Wireless Workforce, published
by John Wiley & Sons in July 2003.
David Pierce, associate partner, Accenture
A member of the leadership team for Accenture's Global Business
Intelligence Practice, Pierce leads and serves as subject-matter expert
on cross-industry client implementations that include data strategy and
governance, data warehousing, performance management, business analytics,
and BI competency centers.
