What is the weather like in Cary, NC?
While summers in Cary can be hot and humid, the area usually has moderate weather throughout the most of the year.
Winter temperatures range from lows in the 20s (°F) to highs in the 50s, though 60-degree weather is not uncommon. While the area usually receives very little snow in the winter months, freezing rain and sleet does occur periodically. Spring and fall days are usually very comfortable, with temperatures in the low to mid-70s, with nights in the 50s. Summer days usually range between the low 80s to mid-90s, although high humidity can make it feel even warmer. The rainiest months are July and August.
How and when can I make hotel reservations?
We recommend calling one of the hotels listed in the Accommodations & Transportation section of this conference Web site. The sooner you call, the better your chance of securing a room at the SAS rate.
Will there be transportation from the hotel to SAS for the conference?
Yes, there will be a complimentary shuttle to and from both hotels on both conference days. If you have a car, there will be reserved parking spaces for you on SAS' campus.
