How can IT improve an organization's perception of its contribution
and overall value?
View this Webcast
for a panel discussion as we explore this timely topic and hear from
the experts:
- Joe Beery – Senior vice president and chief information officer for America
West Airlines.
- Fred Mapp – President of the World Congress on Information Technology 2006
and author of Mapping Information Technology…To Your Business.
- Daniel Minto – Global head of IT management strategy at SAS.
Nicholas Carr's controversial new book, Does IT Matter?,
has got people debating the value of IT. This discussion will not focus
on if IT matters, but how to make IT matter.
How you track your quality of service, ensure your charge backs are accurate
and report on your contributions to the organization's goals are crucial to
IT's success. The panelists will share their experiences in demonstrating IT
value to the top levels of organizations. The discussion will be followed by
a product presentation of tools that enable IT to provide evidence of its contribution.
Hear about best practices and real-world solutions for:
- Decreasing misalignment of the organization's goals and IT's efforts.
- Reducing the frustration often felt between IT and users by ensuring charge
backs are fair and accurate.
- Understanding the costs versus the benefits of IT's contributions.
- Using business terms to communicate the value that IT offers the organization.
Copies of Fred Mapp's new book, Mapping Information
Technology…To Your Business will be awarded to
8 attendees of the Webcast via a random drawing.
